ENHANCED CONSUMER NOTICE: Lead & Copper Sample Results
Water users connected to the Emigration Improvement Districts Public Water System would have recently received, by mail, a letter notifying customers of a recent test result for copper that exceeded action limits set by the EPA from two of the twenty homes tested. This letter was a precautionary letter to notify water users of the issue until further information is made available. In the meantime, the District is working closely with DDW (Division of Drinking Water) to ensure the safety of the water being provided.
If your home has copper pipe plumbing or you're concerned that you may have elevated copper and/or lead levels, feel free to contact the District (p) 801-243-5741 or (e) eric@ecid.org.
