ENHANCED CONSUMER NOTICE: Lead & Copper Sample Results

Water users connected to the Emigration Improvement District's water system would have recently received by mail a letter notifying customers of a recent test result for lead that exceeded action limits set by the EPA.  This letter was a precautionary letter to notify water users of the issue until further information is made available.  In the meantime, the District is working closely with DDW (Division of Drinking Water) to ensure the safety of the water being provided.

November 5, 2019

The District received some additional testing results from the lab and found NO DETECTION OF LEAD from the District's water sources.  Two (2) of the (3) homes that had exceeded the EPA action levels have also been retested and both of the lead levels were below the action level of .015 mg/L.  The District is waiting for additional test results and direction from DDW.
